AN EYE FOR DETAIL

Helping customers manage eye conditions can be complex given that many symptoms can be experienced across a number of eye conditions.

The first step in assisting customers with their requests for help with their eyes is to refer them to the pharmacist who will try to identify the condition and recommend a treatment option, or refer them to a specialist such as an optometrist. If the customer is advised to use an over-the-counter treatment, you can help by explaining how it should be used.

In an exciting partnership between the Guild Learning and Development and PS, update your skills by taking part in our series of ‘snapshots’ from accredited units from the community pharmacy qualifications.

Simply read the lesson below and then answer five multiple choice questions and receive a Certificate of Completion which you can print!
