Launch of APOHEALTH Pain Relief Toolkits for pharmacy assistants

To help minimise the “pain” of the February 1, 2018 upscheduling of OTC codeine-containing medicines, Apotex has a range of alternatives and solutions via its extensive over-the-counter (OTC) pain portfolio.

Apotex’s leading OTC brand, APOHEALTH comprises OTC analgesic products designed to offer pharmacies and their customers, access to a comprehensive product range, supplemented by in-store promotion and online training.

In addition, Apotex is also launching its APOHEALTH Pain Relief Toolkits – in-store merchandising solutions, including counter mats and display units, shelf tags and posters, to enable pharmacy assistants to help their customers to make easier and better informed decisions regarding their pain management options.

The APOHEALTH Pain Relief Toolkit encourages self-selection and recommendation, to ensure customers have their pain needs covered.

To further support in-store initiatives, QCPP-approved online training focusing on non-codeine pain management options, is also available.

Apotex is committed to supporting the business and profession of pharmacy through APOHEALTH. The APOHEALTH range is constantly evolving to meet the changing needs of the pharmacy customer, creating value beyond the dispensary, and maximising opportunities for front of shop to help pharmacies ensure the long-term sustainability of their business.

Pharmacies wishing to obtain a Pain Relief Toolkit, or to learn more about the APOHEALTH product range, should contact their Apotex Territory Manager or call APOTEX on 1800 276 839 today.
