On World Sight Day (Thursday 12 October 2017), Vision Australia has announced Priceline Pharmacy as the new Presenting Partner of its Carols by Candlelight

According to Priceline Pharmacy CEO and managing director, Richard Vincent, partnering with Carols by Candlelight shows that we support women and their families, beyond the exemplary care people experience from our wonderful pharmacists.

“This event is loved by people of all ages, so it also provides us exclusive access to a huge audience at the event and millions of viewers who will be watching it around the country.”

During both the rehearsal night and event, Priceline Pharmacy will offer family-friendly games, activities, face painting and manicures. The backstage greenroom suite for performers and VIP guests will be turned into the Priceline Pharmacy ‘Pink Room’ decorated in the brand’s signature colour and will be featured throughout the live broadcast.

This year is the 80th anniversary for Carols by Candlelight which is the major fundraising event for Vision Australia who support children who are blind or have low vision.

Ron Hooton, Chief Executive Officer of Vision Australia, says: “Our new Presenting Partner, Priceline Pharmacy, is 100% about women and their families, and has become a trusted household name in its 35 years of operation. We are looking forward to being able to work closely with Priceline Pharmacy and spread the joy of this season of kindness and togetherness, across the nation.”

Two legendary Carols by Candlelight performers Silvie Paladino and Denis Walter recently visited Priceline Pharmacy Highpoint, Victoria, where Silvie said: “I’ve always loved Priceline, so I’m really happy to see the brand come on board to support Vision Australia and Carols by Candlelight.”
